Doesn't 'netdev: tap0' work? Using the tap driver ought to be faster.
Anyway, 0.9.51 supports multiple ethernet interfaces. I.e. it is
possible to use tap0 for IP and eth0 for AppleTalk (I'll upload the
0.9.50 version tomorrow, or perhaps on Thursday).
