Hi Bob!

I strongly recommend to use OS8.6' "System","Finder" + ROM,
on an extra partition for mol purposes, it's even possible
to use these files in your convenient 8.0/1 surrounding.
I've been running 8.1 with a 8200 ROM and it's too slow to
be usable. mol-0.9.49 is quite right, because you can start
mol in vt8 with 8bpp, tap0 and Appleshare-over-IP. Get the
kernel src as described in the other mail or rsync this way:
# rsync -avz penguinppc.org::linux-pmac-stable /usr/src/linux
could give you a kernel-3400-config if interested.
