OK michael,

I downloaded and untared it OK

all the "stuff" is sitting (for now) in my
/home/root directory.

question.

Should not there be a <vmlinux-2.2.18pre17-ben1>
file that has to reside in my bootup partition
(OS 8.6 ) system folder, in the Linux Kernels
file so I can boot up with bootX ? I see a
<vmlinux>. is that it?
