I've been perusing the list archives and I've seen a few users report
this problem, but no solutions ... so, I'll try again :)
I recently installed LinuxPPC Q4 and I'm running the pre-installed mol
(I downloaded the one from maconlinux.org and rpm reported that it was
older than the one already installed)
I've edited the /etc/molrc file to list my MacOS partition first
(/dev/hda11) and my cdrom second (/dev/cdrom). I also have the line
'mount_mol_disk: no' added as was recommended by someone on the list.
When I run startmol, I get the following output:

All I get is a grey screen and no disk activity. If I comment out my
hda11 blkdev in order to boot from the CDROM, the results are the same
(and the output above is actually from just that - the only difference
to using hda11 is that the disk is reported before /dev/cdrom)
I have a slot-loading iMac DV w/ MacOS 9.0.4 and 384MB RAM. I copied
the ROM file from the 'Software Install' CDROM - as per the instructions
on maconlinux.org. What's wrong here?
