If your linux box is already on a private network, there is a much easier
way - simple define your netdev as eth0 (or whatever the gigabit card comes
as) in /etc/molrc, then boot MacOS. Open the control panel and giver you
mac an unused IP address on the network, set your gateway and DNS to
whatever is should be (the same as for linux), and you are off and running.
I don't think this will work if you are using DHCP, though.
