The 1.4 ROM is the first one MOL supports (since it was this version
I had when I implemented the newworld support). The 1.2.1 ROM does not
work with MOL.
MOL implementes a minimal OpenFirmware. This implementation sometimes
need minor tuning in order to support certain ROM versions. I might
give the 1.2.1 ROM a try eventually - I recently got a copy extracted
from Apple's "iMac Update 2.0".
Anyway, it is good to know the 1.4 ROM works together with MacOS 8.5.
