For the ?locked volume?, edit the file /etc/molrc, specifically the section
HFS volumes. I had to add the new lines for /dev/sda6 and 7, these are the
HFS partitions on my disk drive.

#blkdev: /dev/sdb -ro
blkdev: /dev/cdrom -cd
