for example (in case the previous message wasn't all that clear) here's
what I did:

1) copied the "Mac OS Rom" file from my HFS+ Mac OS partition to my HFS
Mac OS partition (/boot) via MacOS, to a folder 'temp'
2) In Linux: strip_nwrom /boot/temp/Mac\ OS \ Rom /usr/lib/mol/rom/rom.nw

And that was able to do it - doing it from the CD works a bit easier, even:
0) find drive that is your CDROM:
 # dmesg | grep ATAPI (assuming you don't have a SCSI CD-ROM)
find the line: "hdb: MATSHITA CR-1750, ATAPI CDROM drive" (or something similar)
1) # mount /dev/hdb /mnt/cdrom (assuming 'hdb' is your cdrom drive, it
is on my iMac)
2) # strip_nwrom /mnt/cdrom/System\ Folder/Mac\ OS\ Rom /usr/lib/mol/rom/rom.nw

That's it - now ya got the ROM you need (hopefully)
