You didn't answer this one :-)

Or does your answer below imply that 603 support is back by way of
conspicuous absence in mentioning it?

With 2.4.9 and MacOS 8.6, mol for me has these 2 oddities that I
cannot pinpoint other than to describe:

1. Will occasionally go deaf to ethernet traffic. Restart of
MacOS/mol, or sometimes just mounting a drive via Appletalk, will
clear it. Interestingly, on-screen in mol, everything seems peachy
(that is, Finder and other programs continue to run fine).

2. Sometimes when deaf as described in #1, mol goes into mode where
mouse is always down. Nothing anywhere can be selected, but moving
mouse over the Finder menus for example drops them down and
highlights as mouse moves over the menu selections; however, no item
in any menu can actually be selected. Only solution is to reboot
MacOS/mol.

Is 2.4.9 too old? Should I go to OS9? (I like 8.6, but will switch if
you think it will make a significant difference).

Thanks for your response, /Samuel.
