Well. MOL is quite stable on 2.4 kernels with the exception
of some old 2.4 versions where (I think) a kernel MM problem
makes MOL somewhat unstable. I recommend using the
latest 2.4 kernel.
MOL should work well on 2.2 too, but a kernel problem (possibly
related to signals) makes it somewhat unstable.

No - I haven't seen any difference.
