Problem loading kernel module

Hi,

I have an iBook running YDL 2.1 with kernel 2.4.18 and I'm trying to get this external firewire hard drive to work, but in order to do that, I need to load the sbp2 module. Here's the problem:

# modprobe sbp2
/lib/modules/2.4.18-0.8a/kernel/drivers/ieee1394/sbp2.o: unresolved symbol xmon

Any help would be appreciated.
