MOL on PowerBook Wallstreet -

Thanks Samuel

It works! As you said, all I had to do was extract the 9.2.1 "Mac OS
ROM" from the installer and put in my System Folder.

I hadn't tried that before because I was convinced that the Wallstreet
is "oldworld". Which it is for the purposes of booting. But of course
MOL isn't actually booting the hardware - it's emulating the boot
process, and prefers a newworld boot for a "newworld" version of Mac
OS. It's all clear now, but that didn't come through from the
documentation on maconlinux.net or elsewhere. The other complication is
that the Mac OS installers don't install the Mac OS ROM file on machines
such as the Wallstreet because they don't normally use it

I'll try to put together a step-by-step guide to installing MOL on the
Wallstreet.

Thanks again.

Chris
