Not quite sure of the current status, but back when I was using 0.9.53 I was
quite successfully running RealPC (Softwindows) when VirtualPC refused to
work.

IMO RealPC was a faster emulator than VPC.. Although it wasn't quite as
capable as VirtualPC is with it's numerous operating systems. (and it is now
basically obsolete..)

I've also tried Bochs compiled on a PPC Linux box and performance is
horrible compared to any of the Mac based x86 emulators. But then again the
author hasn't really optimized Bochs' performance for the PPC arch.
