Strange problems with mol-0.9.64 with Mandrake 8.2

I was going through the mailing list archives and I found that I'm getting the exact error message that Falk is getting when I try to run MOL (reproduced below).  I tried what Samuel recommended in his reply, but I still get the same message.  I
wonder if my problem might be the lines:Could not open '/var/lib/mol/x11.kbd' and Could not open '/var/lib/mol/console.kbd'  Sure enough, those files don't exist and reinstalling doesn't install them.  I've recompiled and reinstalled, from source
and from RPM, numerous times, idealistically hoping that'll make the error message go away.  Any ideas?  If it makes a difference, I'm running YDL 2.3, kernel version 2.4.19-4a, on a G4/800.
