I have a PowerBook G4 version 11.3 that has the 3.3.6f5 (newworld) rom =
within it. I have YDL 2.3. I removed the default mol that comes with YDL =
2.3 (Everything Install) and have installed the 0.9.65 version of mol. I =
can boot Mac OS 9.2.2 from a bootup disc without a hitch, but when it =
comes to OSX it is a different story. I performed the updates 'apt-get =
update/upgrade' . I have edited the molrc.osx script, however, any =
changes made are ignored at boot up (startmol, etc). The following is =
the message I get after doing a 'startmol':=20

# startmol --list

# OS X Volumes
#------------------------------------------------------------------------=
------
#
# Volumes to be mounted in MacOS X are specified through the
# blkdev keyword:
#
# blkdev: <device> [flags]
#
# Note that <device> should be a _single_ partition (e.g. =
/dev/hda7).
#
# IMPORTANT: IF A COMPLETE DISK IS SPECIFIED instead of just a =
single
# partition, then MOL might fail to guard against the case where a =
particular
# partition is mounted multiple times by different MOL sessions.
# ALWAYS SPECIFY THE PARTION. This issue will be addressed =
eventually.
# Moreover, if an entire disk is specified, then MacOS X will have
# access to _all_ partitions on that disk. This is clearly =
undesirable.
#
# The following flags are supported
#
# -rw/-ro read-write / read-only [default]
# -force force usage of device (be careful!)
# -boot boot from this disk.
#
# For now, the OS X boot disk must be specified through the usage
# of the -boot flag. E.g.

blkdev: /dev/cdrom -cd -boot -force

#blkdev: /dev/hda10 -rw
