RVEC Internal Error 700

Hello all,

I am having some problems with MOL on a PowerBook 3400c running a SuSE PP=
C=20
distribution updated to Linux kernel 2.4.18. No matter what I do, I get a=
n=20
"RVEC Internal Error 700" (see the log at the end of the message).

My searches on the list archive indicated that the error had to do with=20
altivec, so I tried recompiling my kernel, kernel modules, and mol kernel=
=20
models with CONFIG_ALTIVEC enabled and then again with it disabled (as I=20
understand it, the 603ev in my PowerBook does not support altivec anyway,=
 so=20
ideally I would like to run MOL with altivec disabled). I've also tried=20
toggling the "disable_altivec" in /etc/molrc, to no avail. I've also trie=
d=20
the various processor settings (601, 603 and G3), again, to no avail.

Any ideas? Has anyone on the list successfully used MOL on a PowerBook
3400c?
