Error installing mol-kmods

Hello
I'm trying to install a rebuided mol-kmods rpm to match my current kernel (2.4.19-pre8-ben0) because it didn't work with the builded in ones. Rebuilding goes on fine but i keep getting the following when trynig to install it
error: unpacking of archive failed on file /dev/sheep_net: cpio: rename failed - Operation not permitted
I tryied creating /dev/sheep_net manually by 
mknod /dev/sheep_net c 10 198
but it doesn't work either.
Please i'm really confused
