If I call "artsdsp startmol" I hear a garbled sound (e.g. noise). If I kill 
artsd before calling startmol, the sound is okay. This allows me to work 
around the bug.

`lsof /dev/dsp' shows me that indeed artsd is using /dev/dsp.
