startup hangs

My apologies for the previous blank message--the web client for FirstClass is a hateful thing.

Anyway, MOL has started to hang suddenly while I'm trying to start OS X.  For a while it was working, but all of a sudden it'll hang at the login background, just before the boot panel shows up.  I've left it for 5 or 10 minutes and it remains at
that screen.  The only things I've changed since it was working were a sound setting (in XMMS though, I didn't actually change anything in KDE) and I installed CUPS.

YDL 2.3, kernel 2.4.19-4a, and latest version of MOL.  Below is a text dump of the messages I get from when I start MOL until it hangs.  I get the same messages whether I'm root or not.  Thanks in advance for any help anyone has for me!
