Scroll Lock Key Emulation

Hi, I use an emulator under MacOS which needs the Scroll Lock key to
switch between modes. Does anyone know how to go about this?

I've tried setting the keypad 6 (KP_6) as adbcode 125, which I've read
is the code for the scroll lock button. I've also tried setting
xmodmap to the same thing.

So can anyone help here?
