You may want to state whether you are using stable, testing, or
unstable, and of what date.

Please change my email address to jensen@debian.org. And may I
suggest that you add the addresses of Samuel and the mol-general list
as well?

What version of mol are you using? The module loading was improved in
the latest unstable version and the messages now should make sense.

By default, networking is disabled altogether. It should be
sufficient to remove the comments from the ``netdriver: tun'' line in
/etc/mol/molrc.net to get a connection between Mac OS X and Linux.
While mol is running, check

1. on the Linux side whether=20
   a) the module tun is loaded,
   b) the device node /dev/net/tun exists with the correct properties,
   c) an interface tun<number> is up and running,
   d) this interface is properly configured, and
   d) the kernel IP filtering rules are allowing packets from this interfac=
e,
2. on the Mac OS X side whether
   a) the driver for the tun interface is installed,
   b) this interface is available in the Network Port Configurations pane,
   c) this interface is properly configured, and finally
3. whether you can ping Linux from Mac OS X and vice versa.

`Properly configured' meaning that both interfaces are using distinct
addresses on a common subnet that is not used by any other network
interface.

Regards, Jens.
