Is the setting CONFIG_TUN=3Dy or CONFIG_TUN=3Dm?  Use the latter to build
the driver as a module.

> No:   modprobe: Can't locate module tun

Does the kernel load any other modules?  Does `find /lib/modules -name
tun.o' come up with anything?  If yes, can you insmod this file?
