Problem concerning update security patch for OSX

MOL works fine for a while in my
ibook2 with OSX 10.2 and YellowDog3.0

However, I've upgrade a security patch in OSX dated
"14-8" and found out that I cannot load mol in my
YD3.0. Everything seems fine before the wallpaper is
loaded and no menu bar and dock appears. Nothing
special appears in the log file. I tried to reinstall
YD3.0 again and seems that doesn't help. 

Should I reinstall everything again including the
OSX??
