If you intend to run Mac OS X in mol, do

 apt-get install mol-drivers-macosx mol mol-modules-source

initially to only get the drivers you really need.

The configuration files are distributed into both directories, and are
initially identical. Copying them is only necessary if you have
seriously fucked up and are desperately trying to start from scratch.

And if you are writing a Debian specific howto for Ben's kernel, you
may want to include that his tree (or rather the diffs to the vanilla
source) are packaged as kernel-patch-benh by Yours truly, and the
Debian way of building a BenH kernel is therefore with

# apt-get install kernel-source-2.4.21 kernel-patch-benh
# cd /usr/src
# tar jxf kernel-source-2.4.21.tar.bz2
# cd kernel-source-2.4.21
# make-kpkg --added-patches benh kernel-image ...

Regards, Jens.
