mol and airport extreme

Can mol access hardware directly?  If I'm running OSX inside a mac-on-linux
session, can OSX use the airport extreme card (which isn't supported in linux)?

If so (or if it might be possible with some extra hacking) then this could
be a method to use wireless networking with a powerbook -- run OSX in mol so
that you can use the native OSX driver for the airport extreme, and then
set up OSX as a gateway for Linux.
