You could always compile mol completely from source. (Disclaimer: I havn't
ever bothered to figure out how to compile only the mol kmods, it was just as
easy to do the whole thing.... :) I'm running MOL 0.9.7-something (fairly
current rsync)self-compiled against a self-built 2.4.24-ben1 fine, networking
and all. You can find download/compile instructions at
http://maconlinux.org/dev.html - I usually use the '-rvz' flags instead of
'-avz' (i.e., 'rsync -rvz rsync.penguinppc.org::mol mol-rsync'), it keeps
permissions on dl'd files straighter. Other than that, though, verbatim from
the site. Oh, (and sorry if this is obvious, but) make sure you have the
kernel headers installed, mol needs 'em. Don't give up, it's worth it. :^)
