Yes, this is because yaboot in MOL can only access the virtual disk
which maps individual files to files in the linux filesystem.

I've been working on OpenBIOS, and with this more complete open firmware,
it is (or will be) possible to yaboot (and the kernel) directly
from the harddisk.
