Hi,

I am running Yellow Dog Linux 3.01 on an iMac G3 500. Mol-0.9.69 runs nicely
on my system.

I downloaded and sucessfully rebuilt the .src.rpm of mol-kmods for my
running kernel. It rebuilds properly and spits out the rpm to
/usr/src/rpm/RPMS/ppc.

Before I installed the 2 0.9.70 rpms I did an rpm -e on mol and mol-kmods
0.9.69 versions. They were sucessfully removed. I also deleted the /etc/mol
directory. Yes. I backed it up.

I installed mol-0.9.70-1.ppc.rpm and mol-kmods-0.9.70-1.ppc.rpm without any
error. All dependencies were met.

I have 9.2.2 installed on an existing partition to test against.

I get the following error when I do a #startmol --test.

[root@imac root]# startmol --test
/usr/lib/mol/0.9.70/bin/mol: /usr/lib/libpng12.so.0: no version information
available (required by /usr/lib/mol/0.9.70/bin/mol)

uname -a shows Linux imac 2.4.22-2g #1 Tue Dec 2 22:48:31 MST 2003 ppc ppc

gcc -v shows gcc version 3.2.2 20030217 (Yellow Dog Linux 3.0 3.2.2-2a)

Any ideas?

Sincerely,

Steve Fishman
