Hi,

We use classic here, so these instructions only work for
MacOS-8.6 through 9.2.

1) You must have networking set up.

Test this by pinging the linux side
with Anarchie > Watch > Ping with ICMP...

2) You must already be able to print from the linux side of
your setup.

3) If you are running cups on the linus side, make certain
that the the program "lpr-cups" is installed. It might be
a separate rpm. Do "locate lpr-cups" to see if it's
installed.

4) On the Mac_OS side open the program "Desktop Printer
Utility", which is in the "utilities" folder, which is
likely in the "applications" folder.

5) When "Desktop Printer Utility" opens, then choose
"Printer(LPR)"

6) In the resulting top pane, just choose "generic", which
is probably already offered as the default.

7) In the bottom pane, click "change". In the resulting
dialog box, enter the network address of the linux side,
something like "192.168.1.0", and the name of the linux
side printer.

*Save and close. A desktop printer will appear on the MacOS
desktop and you can print from the mac side.
