a few problems

I just got MOL up and running on my enviroment:
 
 * MOL 0.9.70
 * 12" iBook G3 600MHz, 640MB memory
 * Ubuntu, XFree86, 2.6.8-1 kernel with custom compiled MOL-modules 
 * 20GB HFS+ partition with OSX 10.3

I've run molvconfig, allowing the first three frame buffer modes.

When I startmol -X as root, it starts up in full screen. No problems.
When I startmol -X as user, it starts up in a window and mess up my
graphics: fonts and colors.

How do I start mol in window as root, and how do I make it not
destroying my graphics?

Also, when OSX is booted, I try to install the MOL-package. I hit
"Continue" and then try to hit "Continue" again, but the installer dies.
Thus, I get no network nor sound in OSX. What could be the problem?

Any ideas?
