API for locating CD/DVD drives

I haven't used any of it, but some of the sample code on

date.html> might help you.

By the way, I agree that the DRDevice documentation is very unclear  
about whether or not non-burners are listed. It's mentioned on  
<http://www.cocoadev.com/index.pl?DiscRecording> however. Maybe file a  
documentation bug?
