MOL Serial Ports?

I have learned that getting the "Zilog 85C30" serial ports to work AT
ALL on linux can be a challenge. :-( So now I'm turning my attention to
getting them to work in linux. If anyone can point me to a FAQ I would
be grateful!

My Debian 2.6.8-powerpc kernel sees them. (This is on a 1998 PowerBook
G3 Series "Wallstreet / PDQ"). Here are a few lines from dmesg:
