MOL complains after running startmol -X

Well, from what I can see in your MOL output below, networking is
actually working. However, you will have to configure your host
operating system to forward packets from the guest to the internet. This
is usually set up using NAT. Please consult the generic Linux networking
documentation for more, I won't describe that here on the list because
others have done much better than I can do here. Just google for
something like 'iptables' 'MASQUERADE'. Maybe even YDL has some tool for
configuring networking, firewalls and the like, but I really don't know.

The usual setup allows you to switch virtual consoles using the key
combo <Ctrl>-<Alt>-<FX>, your desktop is usually on <F7>, MOL might be
on <F8> and on the lower numbered there are text consoles. Again, I
don't know how YDL is set up.

You can configure MOL to run in a window by editing the molrc.video file
that can probably be found in /etc or /etc/mol.
