The latest kernel for quicksilver (Re: Install problems (new 2.2 CD)

Hi, Dan,

All the latest kernels, which I tried, stop silently on the 
quicksilver (867MHz). In my case, the last message was,
...
VFS: Mounted root (ext3 filesystem) readonly.
Freeing unused kernel memory: 280k init 8k chrp 8k prep
(But, sometimes, it stops a few lines before this message)

then, it stoped and never recovered without pushing the hard 
reset button.  No other messages were displayed.
I have compiled the kernel with the kernel hacking configs
CONFIG_MAGIC_SYSRQ=y
# CONFIG_KGDB is not set
CONFIG_XMON=y.
