YDL and PC Linux and other files

Um, Jim, not to be too rude, but this is so basic a question that my initial
reaction is that you haven't bothered to search the archives at all. People
here are only too willing to help, but you have to take some initiative.

The short answer is "YES" to all your questions and comments.

I've read that MacOS can read or write Windows files.  Can YDL read Linux
files from a PC?  For that matter, can YDL read or write Windows (i.e. FAT
or FAT32)  files like Linux distros on the PC can?

I've heard that YDL can't read or write HFS+ and has difficulty with HFS
files.
