YDL and PC Linux and other files

I've searched the YDL website and haven't found anything exactly on these
points. I have looked at the hardware compatibility pages, but file system
types aren't hardware. Obviously, I don't know where to look. I've tried
the searches at the bottom of each page, and I've found that the MacOS
partition can be either HFS or HFS+. You're probably right that it must
be there somewhere. I'd appreciate it if you could tell me where to find
it. It's probably obvious once you know it. I've gotten "404" when I
tried to access some pages. Also, the pages sometimes act rather
peculiarly when I try to view them. That might be because I'm actually
using lynx running from a NetBSD Unix shell, and not MSIE or Netscape.

Um, Jim, not to be too rude, but this is so basic a question that my
initial
reaction is that you haven't bothered to search the archives at all.
People
here are only too willing to help, but you have to take some initiative.
The short answer is "YES" to all your questions and comments.
Pete

I've read that MacOS can read or write Windows files. Can YDL read Linux
files from a PC? For that matter, can YDL read or write Windows (i.e. FAT
or FAT32) files like Linux distros on the PC can?
I've heard that YDL can't read or write HFS+ and has difficulty with HFS
files.
