Problems with Airport

This has probably ben discussed before, but I am trying to connect to the
internet via my Airport Base Station's internal 56k modem.  I followed the
tutorial provided on yellowdoglinux.com, but I am still unable to recognize
the modem wirelessly.  I am using a G4 400 tower and the older airport base
station (with YDL v.2.0).  It would be great if I could get connected to the
internet so that I could update some of this stuff and learn some more
without having to use our laptop at the same time...
