Monitor Energy Savings

Mkae sure your XFree config file looks like this

Section "Monitor"
        Identifier      "Monitor0"
        VendorName      "Unknown"
        ModelName       "Unknown"
        HorizSync       30-68
        VertRefresh     50-75   
        Option          "dpms"

Obviously only the Option "dpms" is what you need. For some reason Xconfigurator never adds this. I had to do it manually every time.
