Playing DVD's

Thanks for the info on XINE, I had hoped for an installable RPM, but it
seems I would have to build my own from the files downloaded from
sourceforge. I have no idea how to do this, I guess I'll have wait
 'till I get a little more experience with linux, I am at home with
  a Command line interface, from my DOS and Amiga days, but have never
  had to create my own program from source files.
