KDE crashing constantly

I am killing the X server with control-option-delete and YDL kicks me out
into the user console. I have decided since I am early on into YDL I would
reinstall it from scratch. This time I am installing via the text-based RAM
disk instead of the X11 installer.

thanks ## scott
