Xterm won't open in Blackbox

This a known problem with the xterm that comes with XFree 4.2. One 
solution, that Bill Fink provided on this list on 4/19 is:


In the file /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/app-defaults/XTerm, comment out the line:

*VT100*eightBitInput: false

i.e. change it to:

!*VT100*eightBitInput: false
