Suitability of Beige Desktop G3 for YDL

Hi everybody;

I've been running YDL since 2.0 came out on a 6116CD as a learning 
tool for Linux/web server.  It's working well, if not slow.

I just saw that there's a Beige PowerMac G3 available at my favorite 
thrift shop and am wondering about it's suitability as a web server 
with YDL.  No doubt it will run much faster than the 6116CD, but I 
had planned on making my next server a PC with Redhat.

Are there any 'gotchas' with this box?  What bootloader do I use? 
I'm only connected to the net at 256k (DSL) and it looks to me like 
my *current* limitations speed-wise is the 6116CD; if I upgraded to 
the G3 would the bottleneck shift to my net connection (that would be 
a *good* thing)?
