Error running transaction set

I've got a Wallstreet G3 powerbook and am trying to load YDL2.2 onto it.
I've tried all sorts of settings for the amount of swap space, but I can
only load the base install.  How much drive space do I need?

I get the error "Error running transaction set" right before the packages
should start loading.  I've settled on 256m of swap (which would be low on a
RH i386) and have 96m of main memory.

Any help would be appreciated (I think I'll try a bigger/different hard
drive tonight).
