RP-PPPOE.RPM /Error starting connection ...>

Listers,
finally I got and installed the "RP-PPPOE.RPM -Package" from "Roaring=20
Penguin". Now - when trying to connect I the following error_message:

Error starting connection:  Security Alert: =B4/etc/ppp/=B4 - writable =
by=20
group or others

What does this mean and how is this going to be fixed.

Sorry to say - but for newbies - well its not OS X.
