Hi all,
I just got ydl 2.2 on my powerbook over the weekend. It works wonderfully
and find myself using osx less everyday. :) X is still great but for sure
it doesn't perform as nicely.
I was curious if anyone could help me out. I'm trying to get Snort
(intrusion detection) working. It works perfectly, logs to mysql, and is
flawless. Someone makes a component called ACID that's a PHP front end to
view security alerts.
I'm unable to use ACID since it complains that my version of PHP4 was not
compiled with mysql support. I have all the mysql packages from ydl 2.2
installed, including php-mysql. I've done this tons of times on Red Hat
with the same config and it works great. Has anyone tried this? Perhaps a
mis-compilation in the php packages? I may try a manual build myself if
need be. Anyone have any better luck? Thanks.
Gary
