I am new to YDL but not to Linux. I have done numerous installs on
Wintel systems.

Here is my problem:

I have a 400 mhz G4 PCI Mac that doesnt permit me to create any
partitions. I have a 20 g maxtor drive installed as master formatted
from OSX to Unix partition. OS X is on its own drive set up as slave. I
installed OS X on a new drive. The master shows up in the installer
partition table but when I try to create my first partition (for boot)
it takes the size okay, but when I select (type) boot and hit Okay I
get a fatal error.

I checked the hardware support page at YDL and it mentioned possibly
needing additional drivers. ie,

Please note that PCI and PCMCIA slots are supported, however, the
appropriate driver must be functional with YDL in order to support the
unique card for either of these expansion slots.

Any ideas?
