YDL 2.3 install fails

Try this:  In MacOS delete all partitions (the 4800 MB you mentioned in your
message) you are setting aside for Linux.  Then partition it as a Mac HFS
partition.  During the Linux install delete that partition and repartition
it as needed for Linux and proceed from there.
