Umm, that's the click through from the mac link in the products - the new=
 ti=20
for the mac has only been available a short time, and you know it. The P=
C=20
version has been available for nearly a year from various manufactureers =
and=20
currently can be had for around 150.00 less then Apple's version- see=20
newegg.com As per what it can and cant do on the Mac versus the PC, sugge=
st=20
you consult your friend Mike at xlr8yourmac.com - in the heady days of th=
e=20
voodoo2 being availble for Macs, Mike used to run speed tests between mac=
s=20
and pcs - he no longer does, hasn't for a while, you can't even come clos=
e=20
matching mhz to mhz. He also noted when first reviewing the Nvidia cards =
for=20
macs that the mac's couldn't perform several of the functions that the PC=
=20
version could, you will also note on his site that he states clearly not =
to=20
attempt to flash the rom on cards meant for PC's.

Scroll to the bottom of this page:=20

and you will see this:

"Macintosh Products

I currently own a PowerMac and would like to purchase an NVIDIA-based gra=
phics=20
card for my system. Where can I purchase one?
Currently all Mac NVIDIA-based graphics cards are made and sold by Apple.=
=2E."

clearly, assuming they aren't lying, the Mac cards are proprietary.=20
But from Mike Breedon's xlryourmac pages a search returns these amongst=20
others:
"Nvidia: This is a question that you should address to Apple. NVIDIA is=20
selling them GPUs and they are taking care of producing the boards. The=20
GeForce2 MX GPU does support TwinView, how Apple decides to use the chips=
 is=20
up to them."

features it mentions are only available with PC drivers currently) see=20

What I find interesting about this page is this mac users experience, or=20
rather lack thereof in seeing a real speed boost from his $400.00 GFti 46=

I have both a GF3ti 400 and a GFti 4400 which I only spent 160.00 on and =
very=20
nearly trippled my speed in terms of rame rates.

MY GOD your a pompous asshole, and I suspect as is the case with most peo=
ple=20
such as yourself, You have absolutley no reason to be in the real world, =
most=20
often people such as your self are nothing more then weasles in the real=20
world, who spend their time trying to pretend to be someone "special" in=20
cyberspace.

The truth about you and this email list is you spend most of your time te=
lling=20
people, in various ways, to use that POS OSX and drop linux, when in fact=
,=20
Linux, even YDL, runs circles around OSX. And it's free. Which I know is=20
something else you dislike, seeing your posts vis-avis Richard Stallman=20
elsewhere.
