Boot problems after install Part II

I installed according to ydl instructions 10MB (hfs) boot; 256MB swap; and
6.8 GB ext2 (root).  I opted for 20 MB for the boot.
I saw nothing in BootX instruction or ydl install instruction that said not
to have a boot partition.
