YDL-3.0 timeline?

Hey, all:

Is there any insight on the release of YDL-3.0? I was secretly hoping
that's what the teaser was all about, but alas (not that I'm not happy
about the mobo). I've done some serious hosing to my system playing with
packages from ximian, red hat, etc, so I need to do a full rebuild.
(Currently my gnome doesn't even work and I use windowmaker. ;)). Should
I just go ahead and install 2.3, or is it better to wait so I don't have
to reinstall twice?
